Call Rodgers Sturridge Ready to Play Against QPR
Liverpool – Liverpool got good news about the development of the condition of Daniel Sturridge. Manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Sturridge will be played when facing Queens Park Rangers.
Sturridge has been sidelined since the beginning of September. 25-year-old striker had to pull over because of a thigh injury while playing for the English national team.
Sturridge lost considerable influence on the rate of the Reds. From Liverpool who played six games in all competitions in September, just two victories were by them.
After the match against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday (10/04/2014) night, Rodgers Sturridge mengonfirmasih that conditions had improved. Sturridge called Rodgers was ready for the match against QPR (19/10) after the international break.
“I hope he will be able to play against West Brom, but he could not,” Rodgers said as quoted by the official club website.
“But it is clear from now, he will be preparing for the international break, and he will be fine against QPR,” added Rodgers.
Liverpool are now ranked sixth with 10 points with a win over WBA.
