Mangala Not Worried by Competition Internal City
Munich – Eliaquim Mangala to be patient to get the chance to play at Manchester City. Mangala admitted to not be afraid to face intense competition within the internal team.
Mangala is one of the players who were recruited City in the transfer market last summer. French defender was brought in from FC Porto for the transfer is not small, 32 million pounds.
However, so far Mangala has never once played by manager Manuel Pellegrini. Pellegrini still rely on the duo Vincent Kompany–Martin Demichelis to keep the heart of the defense of the Citizens.
Nevertheless, the 23-year-old defender remain patient. He believes the opportunity for him to come because the City must compete in many competitions with a hectic schedule.
“Competition is good for me and also for the team. Increasingly stringent competition you have, then the team will be more competitive and you will increase. I’m not afraid of competition,” Mangala said on Sky Sports.
“Competition for places in the team will make me forward – they should continue to play well and I have to work harder,” he added.
“When I get a chance, I have to show what I can do and I know there will be no room for error,” he said.
